DATES DATES DATES.. Or Not.. :)

Oh DATES! haha I laugh because Dates are not something I am used to going on or participating in but I must say I love them! This Date was back around my Birthday and I went with my friend Zach! Zach is fella who I met way back in 7th grade! We had to part in 8th grade because Zach decided he wanted to be home schooled (Lame!) don't tell him I said that, But ya so as we got older he and I both played sports like Softball and Baseball so we were both able to keep in touch through that. So for our date we went to the driving range, and P.S. I love the driving range! It is the one sport that I play left handed so I enjoy it so much!

SO when we went, one thing Zach and I like to do is compete! And to my lack of knowledge he has never been golfing before, so his first swing he swung back... then forward.. and on the forward swing he let go of his club! It literally went soaring 50 feet in the air and ended up pretty distant from us.. You know when your say "Four" you usually look so a ball..in this case it was a club! I was rolling on the floor laughing because I thought he did it by accident, but when he said he was so serious and didn't mean to, it is even more funny! So that was just out date but I enjoy this fella! He is one friend who always bickers with me and I love it, Weird huh! But I hope some of you have had some memorable dates, I think they make future potential dates seem like they will be exciting too!

And then there was one!

AND then there was ONE! Kendall Clark, Now Elder Clark as I would like to call him! For anyone who has read recent posts, you know that I love my Missionaries! I never thought the day would come when I had to say goodbye to my Last Best Guy friend. Kendall left Monday February 16th to go and serve a mission for the Church we both belong to. He was called to Labor in the Conception Chile Mission and will return February 2011! Wow that seems like a crazy long time but it will be well worth it when he gets home! Plus we promised we will be awesome pen pal buddies throughout his duration as much as we can! Don't worry because yes I have already written him on dear elder because I missed him! Pathetic, yes I know, but he was a good friend and it happens!

Kendall and I have had many fun memories together! Two of the most memorable times are depicted below. The first picture is of Kendall and I in Washington D.C. when we went for Close-up Club my senior, his junior year. We went to D.C. for a week, the night after prom and had the best time ever! We got to see tons of sites and museums and all that kind of stuff! This picture was taken while we were waiting to meet Senator Flake.
The Second Picture was at Sadies in the 80's in 2007. I decided to take my dear friend to Sadies because no one loved the 80's more than Kendall and I knew we would have a rockin time! Kendall suggested that we be 80' rockers so we did and had the best time ever!! Can you see the Crimped hair on me.. Yeah, I had my whole head done and it was my favorite hairstyle I think of any dance!

SO many great Memories, in so little time! It is always sad letting go of friends, but I think we all need to grow in different ways, and this is one way where I think we can both grow and mature and becomes our optimal selves for a short time! Good Luck My Kendall! You Will be amazing, I have no doubts! :)

My life with Mac!

I have decided that I officially love Mac's. For my most recent birthday, I received a Macbook from my parents. And I must say that by far it is one  of the best gifts that I have ever received. Thanks mom and dad, your the best.

So anyone who knows anything at all about Macs, they know that they are pretty dang amazing! They are definitely user friendly, and can do many cool things. My Favorite personal feature is the program called Photo Booth. I cannot tell you how many time I get bored at night and I find myself seeing how seeing how many distorted pictures I can take before I die of Laughter. My other favorite feature is Ichat! Who knew how fun I could be to talk to someone over the computer, and practically be in person. It amazes me the way technology grows so quickly! But I have definitely come to the conclusion that I love Mac computers, although they may be pricey, they are worth the extra cash, in return for a lifetime of enjoyment! :)

Happy Holidays!

Christmas is my favorite time of year! There are lollipops and Gumdrops, and every type of goody one could ever imagine! This past Christmas will be one I will remember always, Here are my Top Four things I loved about this Christmas.
Number ONE: Going to the Temple! I love the Mesa Arizona Temple lights at Christmas time, The lights and nativity scenes were a great way what I believe in, but they are so beautiful to look at. Another thing I also enjoy about the temple are the performances at 7:00. My stake had the privilege of singing on Christmas night, and on New years I went and watched all of the Mesa Missionaries sing. Missionaries hold a great place in my heart, especially around Christmas time. To know that they are devoting their lives to serving the Lord  for two years, and not being able to see their families is such a great sacrifice. It always makes me think of my friends who are out on missions, and it makes me appreciate them even more than  I already do!

Number TWO: Christmas Gatherings! Some on my newly made College girl friends and I all had a Christmas dinner and A Secret Santa gift exchange. Secret Santa gifts are always so hard for me to buy, because I literally stress over what I am getting for that certain person. I was shopping for my person and I was with my Best friend Emily, and I literally could not think of anything to get her, And Emily being the great friend she is, helped me pick out the perfect thing! To my surprise my Secret Girl totally liked what I got her and I was so grateful I didn't disappoint her :) So, nonetheless I really enjoy gift exchanges, I think it gives people the opportunity to get to know another person, and truly think about their likes and dislikes.

Number THREE: Christmas Cards! So Emily and I thought it would be fun to send Christmas cards to some of our missionary friends who are out serving. We had so much fun having a random photo-shoot one afternoon after church, and these were some of the things that came from this eventful time.

Number FOUR:  Having a Birthday! Even though I have never really enjoyed having a birthday close to the holidays, this one turned out surprisingly well! My friends are so good to me, they rallied the troops and we all went to Red Robin, One of my favorite places! It was nice to see a variety of company, old and new friends, all of whom I love so much. Turning 20 is not something I was necessarily looking forward to but I am willing to make it a great year until the glorious Yahoo of 21 will come next year!

Twilight! <3

Of course I bet there have been millions of posts on the new released movie Twilight, and yes I was one who followed the crowd of being in line for the midnight showing. And... Yes I am one of the silly obsessed girls who got a shirt even, that said " I love Edward" Because lets face it, I do.. Twilight as a book was amazing, words cannot not describe how much I enjoyed reading those books. However the movie, surprisingly was good as well. But I think I like them both as a separate good thing. I try not to compare because everyone know the books will never compare to the movies but I did love the movie. And yes, I have seen it two times so far.. And yes, I still want to see it again.. But will I...? I don't even know.. But the consensus is in... and Edward + Ray Ban Sunglasses= BEAUTIFUL.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

HALLOWEEN is such a fun holiday.. although honestly I have never really known why we celebrate it until this year, I have always enjoyed it. Picking out a costume is always so stressful! I have to say I am not a creative thinker when it comes to Halloween costumes. This year my toss up was going to be between a cowgirl.. again.. or an 80's girl.. But my final decision was so different. I decided to be a Fairy! However... when going to a parties for Halloween, people thought of other names to call my so called cute outfit. Such as: Devil Fairy.. or Seductress.. I don't even know how to be seductive, how could I ever be a Seductress? Random.. But I guess some would've made those kinds of judgments based on the attire of my costume. I wore a red dress, black wings, fishnet pantie hose, and Black heels. Your up to your own interpretation.. But i was meant to be a FAIRY :) I hope you had a great Halloween, because I sure did, but it would've been better if I would have been able to feel my feet at the end of the night :( Until next year....

P.S. - Note to self.. No wings next time, hitting almost 1000 people is not fun :)

FAIR !! :)

SO last month I conquered one of my fears! I do not have many fears that I will openly admit, but one that I do is my fear of heights, and Roller coasters! Someone may think that these two things are supposed to be fun, and are supposed to a thrill. True.. But definitely not for me! I am the biggest chicken when it comes to anything with my body leaving the ground and not knowing if when I get down it will still be as composed as it was before. So.. this past October a group of friends and I went to the State Fair. (By the way it was only my second time attending the fair, and the first was a week earlier at the amazing Weezer concert held there). Needless to say I was hesitant to go because of my great fear.. As we walked into the fair we saw fancy enormous elephants and a dancing monkey like you see on children movies... so i thought to myself, Hey this wont be so bad.. Wrong... We got our wrist bands and went in line for the first ride.. I almost talked myself out of going on it.. But peer pressure gets me every time! The whole time on the ride I screamed and closed my eyes like a little baby! Pathetic... Ya I am... But any who by the end of the night I learned to keep my eyes open and I ended up going on EVERY ride!! Except for the last one that I knew would put me in Cardiac Arrest if I even attempted it! So Overall the fair was so fun, and I came out of it feeling a little bit stronger towards my fear of heights!
